Annika Finne is a paintings conservator and current Mario Modestini Fellow at the Yale University Art Gallery. Her research interests center on how painting processes reflect and condition the significances held by the images they create. She received a MA in Art History and a M.S. in the Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University in 2016, and an A.B. from Brown University in 2012, with Honors, magnc cum laude, and Phi Beta Kappa. She has worked in the conservation departments of several institutions in the United States and abroad, including the Museo Nacional del Prado in Madrid, the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
