Artist and Cultural Worker

Ariana Faye Allensworth is an artist and cultural worker with over 15 years of experience advancing systems change across the arts, design, and education sectors. Her practice strengthens cultural ecosystems through participatory, community-centered projects that examine how culture, memory, and power shape the built environment. She has curated and led work with Marian Goodman Gallery, IDEO, Pioneer Works, The Laundromat Project, and The International Center of Photography. She lives and organizes in New York City. Her work is indebted to the freedom dreams that animate places like Allensworth, CA, a historic Black town founded by her ancestors.
