Asha Salim is a poet, scholar, and writer who examines the intersections of diasporic poetics, memory, and archival ethics. Her work explores how Black writers and artists use literature and visual art to challenge official histories and to restore the textures of black diasporic life and identity. A Fulbright and Zegna Founder’s Scholar, she holds an MFA from Temple University. Her writing has appeared in Africa e Mediterraneo, C41 Magazine, and elsewhere.
