Cori Tucker-Price is an Assistant Professor of Religion and Benjamin Banneker Faculty Fellow at UC Santa Barbara. Her research examines African American religious history, religion in the U.S. West, migration, media, and digital humanities. She is completing her first book, Righteous Citizens: A History of Race and Religion in Los Angeles, 1903–1953. Her digital project, Migration as Methodology, uses open-source mapping to visualize Black migration during World War II. Her work has been supported by the Huntington Library and ACLS and has appeared in The Pacific Historical Review and The Los Angeles Times.
