Dr. Ronah Harris
Artist and Design Professor
Ronah Harris is an artist and design professor whose studio practice explores Black presence, care, and embodiment through sculptural textiles and wearable forms. Her work treats portraiture as an experiential practice—one that considers how people feel, move, and are seen within social and digital systems.
Alongside her fine art practice, Harris teaches design for media and interactive experiences for children, centering the real needs of users—particularly Black and multicultural Gen Alpha youth. This group, often overlooked in media and design, is deeply shaped by digital culture.
