Kristina Kay Robinson

Kristina Kay Robinson is a poet, writer, and visual artist born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her written, visual and curatorial practice centers and interrogates the modern and ancient connections between world communities. Robinson’s work focuses on the impact of globalization, militarism, and surveillance on society and their intersections with contemporary art and pop culture. She is the co-editor of Mixed Company, a collection of short fiction and visual narratives by women of color, and a recipient of the Rabkin Prize and an Andy Warhol Arts Writer Grant. Currently she serves as the New Orleans editor at large for the Atlanta based, Burnaway magazine.
