Lyndon Barrois Jr.
Barrois Jr. is also one half of LAB-D, a collaborative practice with artist Addoley Dzegede. Together, they have staged four exhibitions and co-authored a book of essays, Elleboog (Jan van Eyck Academie, 2019). He received a MFA from Washington University in St. Louis (2013) and a BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore (2006), and completed residencies at LATITUDE (Chicago, Illinois); Loghaven (Knoxville, Tennessee); the Jan van Eyck Academie (Maastricht, the Netherlands); Fogo Island Arts (Newfoundland, Canada); and the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) (Dublin, Ireland). Most recently, he was the 2025 Starr Fellow at the Royal Academy Schools, London. He is represented by Alma Pearl, London.
Barrois Jr. is currently an Assistant Professor at York University in Toronto. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor and MFA Program Director at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
