Thembeka Heidi Sincuba

Producer, Researcher and Educator

Heidi Sincuba is a producer, researcher and educator whose transdisciplinary practice examines African cosmologies and decolonial futurisms. They hold a BFA from Artez (2010) and an MFA from Goldsmiths (2014) and have exhibited internationally. Sincuba was Editor-in-Chief for Glitching the Future, a collaboration between Bubblegum Club and ZAM Magazine, both publications for whom they have served as editor. Sincuba has held academic appointments including Head of Painting at Rhodes University (2017–2019). They lectured sessionally at Wits University (2024–2025) and hold a permanent position in Fine Art at Durban University of Technology.
