Dyana Williams

Native New Yorker, Dyana Williams is an award winning broadcaster, print journalist, celebrity strategist, and co-founder of June, Black Music Month. Williams is currently celebrating her 50th anniversary in the entertainment industry. Dyana is a frequent on-camera commentator on the NAACP Image Award winning music documentary series, UNSUNG, on the TV One network, where she also served as the co-executive producer of the Teddy Pendergrass episode. Williams, has been recognized by Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush in the White House for her music activism. As the past president of the Philadelphia Chapter of the GRAMMY, where she serves on the board, Dyana is an advocate for Black music. Additionally, Dyana is on the board of her alma mater, Temple University’s Klein College of Media and Communication, as well as the National Museum of African American Music in Nashville.
