Noura Finley

Noura Finley is a rising senior at the Paideia School in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a staff writer for The Forum, the school newspaper, and an editor for The Blue Rider, the school literary magazine. Noura is also co-founder and leader of Women and Wellness, a female empowerment club, a leader of the black affinity group at her school, and a manager of the boy’s varsity basketball team. In 2016, she performed with Magdalena Campos-Pons at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC, in their first-ever performance art series, IDENTIFY. The paper that Noura is presenting, “The Racial Nuances Between the Tulsa Race Massacre and the Osage Murders,” was originally written as a term paper for her tenth-grade United States History class. She has been a regular attendee at Black Portraitures since 2013 and looks forward to engaging with the Tulsa community and conference participants.
