Adriane V. Jefferson is an award-winning Cultural Equity Leader with over 20 years of professional experience in the arts and culture sector. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs for the City of Atlanta under Mayor Andre Dickens. Previously, she was the Director of Cultural Affairs for the City of New Haven and Executive Director of New Haven Festivals Inc., where she led groundbreaking initiatives such as The Unapologetically Radical Conference, New Haven’s inaugural Black Wall Street Festival, and the first Cultural Equity Plan in the State of Connecticut.

Adriane is a sought-after thought leader on cultural equity and activism, having presented for institutions such as Yale University, the NAACP, and CT Magazine, among others. Her work has been featured in Cosmopolitan, Black Enterprise, Yahoo News, and other national media outlets. She recently served as an adjunct professor of Arts & Entertainment Management and Marketing at Eastern Connecticut State University.

She is a Yale Trumbull College Fellow, co-chair of Yale’s Committee on Art Recognizing Enslavement, and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
