
Destinee Filmore
Assistant Curator, Metropolitan Museum of Art
Destinee Filmore is an Assistant Curator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. At the Met, her research and curatorial projects focus on the art and material culture of the early twentieth century, with particular interests in the United States and the Atlantic world. She is also broadly interested in public history, archives, and digital humanities tools that expand access to historical materials. Filmore’s appointment at the Met followed a Mellon Curatorial Fellowship at the Williams College Museum of Art and the completion of her MA in the History of Art at Williams College.
