Esther A. Armah is an author, former international award-winning journalist, and playwright. She is CEO, The Armah Institute of Emotional Justice (The AIEJ), an international institute working across the US, the UK, and Africa – specifically, Ghana and South Africa. Esther is the creator of the racial healing roadmap, Emotional Justice. The AIEJ creates innovative racial healing resources through projects, training, and thought leadership, and engages storytelling as a strategy for systemic change. Esther is author of ‘EMOTIONAL JUSTICE: a roadmap for racial healing’. As a journalist she has worked in London, New York, Chicago, Washington DC, Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa. She has written five plays that have been performed and produced in Accra, New York, Chicago. Her Emotional Justice work is featured at the United Nations, The Institute for Justice & Reconciliation, the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, the worlds of philanthropy and academia in the US.
