Miranda Traudt serves as the Assistant Provost for Arts and Community Programming at Syracuse University. In this role, Traudt provides operational and programming leadership for arts, humanities and community-focused academic initiatives at the University and within the Syracuse community to support faculty and student engagement. Previously, Traudt served as the Director of Arts Programming at SUNY Oswego where she oversaw the curation, administration, and promotion of arts and cultural initiatives. In 2020, Traudt spearheaded the creation of SUNY Oswego’s first Artist-in-Residence Program, with a focus on artistic work that engages with issues of diversity, intersectionality, inclusion, and belonging. Earlier Traudt served as Managing Director of Point of Contact, a contemporary art gallery in residence at Syracuse University and Program Director at the Schweinfurth Art Center, a multi-arts facility located in Auburn NY. Concurrently, Traudt has taught at several local colleges and universities in the areas of arts management, museum studies, and art history.
