Jalexis James is pursuing an education at Tisch School of the Arts majoring in Drama. She was born and raised in at Atlanta, Georgia and it continuously impacts her artistry. She is learning to confront, combat, and create art that advocates for unheard voices. During her playwright exploration, Jalexis gives space to unpack and acknowledge difficult topics that she intends to shine a light on. She strives for growth in all aspects of her life and seeks ways to expand herself any way that she can. She fearlessly works hard every day to become the best version that she can possibly be. Jalexis is immensely grateful for those before her and hopes to continue to pave the way for others.
