Danielle Bowler is a Black feminist editor, writer and musician based in Johannesburg. Currently the Culture Editor at the online publication New Frame, she is the former Managing Editor of ELLE Magazine and has bylines in Mail & Guardian, Cosmopolitan and Africa is a Country, among other publications. Danielle is also a frequent host and moderator of conversations, events and panel discussions, across art, feminism, intellectual and cultural work and other forms of creative practice. Her work is interested in the deeply political dimensions of popular cultures and the possibilities artistic practice opens up.
